Pre-K 1 were vegetables. GK was thrilled to be a cucumber.

A study in eating styles

On the menu: Pasta Bolognase for everyone except GK, who is having plain pasta and a chick patty.

The set up: Annabel has already had three servings with plenty of Parmesan cheese, but wants more.

The challenge: get GK to try her pasta before Annabel steals it from her plate.

Result: 1 1/2 pieces of Penne eaten by GK before we permitted Annabel to steal the rest.

Before the apple picking

The orchard had a figure 8 of hay bales set up, which the girls found to be great entertainment while we waited for the tractor to come around.

Patient puppy and the bunny

Godric proving his worth as family dog by sitting through GK's experiment. It took her awhile to get it just right.

Annabel started pointing into the backyard and shouting, "Bunny!"

And there he is under the Forsythia. There are at least two that appear at dusk and eat up our weeds. Annabel is best at spotting them. Godric - not so good at spotting them, but does turn on his turbo drive when he finally does (never does get close to catching them).
