Godric proving his worth as family dog by sitting through GK's experiment. It took her awhile to get it just right.
Annabel started pointing into the backyard and shouting, "Bunny!"
And there he is under the Forsythia. There are at least two that appear at dusk and eat up our weeds. Annabel is best at spotting them. Godric - not so good at spotting them, but does turn on his turbo drive when he finally does (never does get close to catching them).
Annabel is working hard at raking leaves, while GK has a project of her own. We encourage GK to not just give Godric treats without making him work for it a bit. Here she has decided to try to teach him to go through the tunnel.
GK has developed very strong opinions about clothes. The more plaids and stripes, the better (and pity the parent who tries to convince her otherwise). Next year, everyone will be wearing their t-shirts inside out.
Blue jeans, tutu, AND ruby slippers. It's hard to see, but there is also a purple curler in her hair (just one).
This is also a good example of what happens when you start a movie about 5 o'clock on days when there was no nap.
From this angle it does look like the Wicked Witch of the East was crushed by tulle.
Godric has just traded toys with Annabel. You can see him in the lower left corner sneaking off with an orange teddy bear. As a substitute he has left her his purple dog. The only one unhappy with this arrangement is Mommy, of course.
GK helps get me read for the Saints-Cardinals game.
Almost asked if they were sure this was my dog. He lost about 10 lbs in fur, especially around face. Tends to emphasize the rat qualities over the schnauzer. He's so embarrassed.
Chris goes away for two nights and comes home to find a ballerina in the house and his dog shaved.
They've been rebuilding our sidewalk all month, which means we have not had a driveway since September 1st and must shuttle babies, groceries, diaper bags, etc. through a construction zone and across a busy street every time we leave the house. On the plus side is that a watching a backhoe and dump truck from our porch is just as good as Elmo to GK.
GK and the towers she built - a change from her usual demolition tendencies.
We are a couple of engineers living in Abington, PA with now two little girls (George Katherine and Annabel) and a dog (Godric). This blog is our way of sharing pictures of our girls with distant family and friends.
