Snow Day

First real snow of the season - and last to 2010

It was the first snow Annabel could really play in, although in those boots she can't actually move on her own.

Positioning her near the bench worked much better.

Snowbound

What we were up to while the blizzard raged outside:

Some us practice twirling in tutus.

And we figure out that Annabel is the same height of Godric standing up.

Snowmeggedon, Part 1

This is the first of a whole week of snow days. Note how high the snow is, and that it is still falling. Two more storms came in three days later.

Godric models with stylish coat.

GK helps her Daddy shovel the porch.

GK learns about snow balls.

Bonus shot: Annabel in a crown. As with all thing she proceeded to take it off her head and try to eat it.

Snow!

It's a little shaky since the two subjects generally ran in different directions. At one point you can hear GK call Godric, "Swiper", as in the fox from Dora the Explorer. He often plays that role in her adventures.

Snow Day!

We woke up to 6 inches of snow.  At first GK was reluctant to step in it until her mommy stamped down a path for her.

Standing in the snow isn't so bad afterall.

The neighbor's cat comes to beg a back scratch and possible invitation indoors.  His entrance was the most exciting part of our backyard expedition for GK.

What happen to my swing set!?!?

January pictures

Happiness is a chocolate cupcake.  GK prefers to be given the whole cupcake and will shake her head at a slice or quarter cupcake.

Cookie bins make good hats.

GK tries on Daddy's hat.

Her First Snow!

We woke up to an icy snowy yard - GK's first official snowfall.

She's not so certain about her cold weather gear.
