First (professional) haircut
We take GK to get a haircut and tame her wild bangs.
Before

She did like the fire engine chair, plus they put an Elmo video on for her to watch.
The after shot with bangs! It took some getting used to, but it is nice to see her eyes now.

Giant box of crayons
George Katherine's response to a box of 96 crayons: "Wow wee!"

She has great fun with sorting them. Occasionally she colored with one.

GK gets a big girl bed
We picked up a bed for GK on Valentine's Day. She helped to put it together, of course.

We made sure she had her own screwdriver at all time.
All set up - she loves it for story time, but doesn't understand staying in it to sleep. She's still in the crib at night.
Detail shot.

She looooved her gorilla.
GK points out an orangutan. Another orangutan can be seen on the scaffold above Chris' head.

Snow Day!
We woke up to 6 inches of snow. At first GK was reluctant to step in it until her mommy stamped down a path for her.

Standing in the snow isn't so bad afterall.
The neighbor's cat comes to beg a back scratch and possible invitation indoors. His entrance was the most exciting part of our backyard expedition for GK.

Happiness is a chocolate cupcake. GK prefers to be given the whole cupcake and will shake her head at a slice or quarter cupcake.
